The Challenge
Unbeknownst to many, the Evansville tri-state area is part of the human trafficking crossroads of America. It is caught up in the $150 billion industry of human trafficking (that’s more than Starbucks and Target combined). There are 4.8 million people enslaved in our world today. Trafficking, largely fueled by pornography, is the fastest growing criminal enterprise on the planet. We see it over and over again, right here in the tri-state area.
Human Trafficking
The three largest contributors to human trafficking are:
- Strip Clubs
- Illicit massage parlors
- Pornography
